Storyteller’s Creed

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge.

That myth is more potent than history.

That dreams are more powerful than facts.

That hope always triumphs over experience.

That laughter is the only cure for grief.

And I believe that love is stronger than death.

Take a Look Around...

We Are Spies!

Dreamer just saw Tiger walk across the window! Going upstairs! It's 9:41 on Friday night, and Dreamer...just...saw...Tiger...in the window!
It could have been another person, Dreamer admits, but this person was wearing wavy pajamas that apparently Tiger has. So...it was her!
Tiger, please report. Did you walk upstairs wearing wavy pajamas on Friday night? And if so, was it at 9:42? Or 9:41? Or anywhere around 9:40?

Phooey

  It wasn't Thursday.
  My prediction was wrong.
  Darn.
  Oh, well. Maybe tomorrow.
Oh, yeah -- and Nathan T. Dalton just posted Installment 5 on The Back Door Conspiracy. It's not really a continuation of the story, though...you'll just have to read to find out.

President Fantasy, I know you read all the posts, but you have to read this! Please...!

Okay, so President Fantasy must read all the posts right? But she has to read this one, because to the jubuliation of her... I have started writing my story! I am going to shorten it in the traveling parts, making it easier to write. I am going to save the sixth chapter of ATTSTW for the time after I have gotten my story in my hand and published. Sorry! Anyway, I am just telling you all this so that you know. I also want to write the short story for Dreamer's contest. I would write it right now, but I have to go to bed. Bye! And if you are reading this also at 9:04 or 5, sleep tight!

I Should Talk to Raistlin

Mostly because I don't have anything clever and witty to write as my title, and he is the self-proclaimed "clever and witty" man.
I know what you're saying. "Gasp! President Fantasy, you always have something clever and witty to say! Or...well...maybe not clever, and sometimes not witty, but always something!"
You know, you're right. I do.
  But not this time.
I guess I could say something. Just for the purpose of saying something.
On Thursday, I'm auditioning for Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. Wish me luck! I'll print out every comment I get from someone wishing me luck and carry them in my pocket while I perform my audition. Seriously. I mean it. I'll carry your luck around with me.
(This will be really sad if I get no comments.)
Anyway, I'm waiting around for Episode 44 of TCF. The 19th marks the three week mark, and by this Sunday, I hope that the new episode will be up.
Oh, yeah, didn't I predict that the episode would be up on Thursday? So if I'm right, then...
  I'm rambling, I think.
Well, I'll see all you sometime soon. Maybe even tomorrow! (My parents are coming back tomorrow.)
See you on the other side of the glass, and don't trust...someone...if you meet him on a dark road.

P.S. In case you haven't read it yet, Installment 4 is up. www.backdoorconspiracy.blogspot.com

I'm An Odyssey Nerd, Israel's Jason's Code Word...

Sorry. I've had that stuck in my head recently. It's a bittersweet feeling, to be singing that.
Anyway... I have a couple of orders of business.
First order of business: Tiger, now that you're back on the blog, you can check out The Back Door Conspiracy! (Click HERE to check it out.)
And if you leave a comment on it (which I would greatly appreciate!), please use either the Anonymous or Name/URL options, instead of signing in. Why? You and I, Tiger, share the same profile. It would look very strange, to say the least.
Or, as another option, using your email address you could create a Google Account. As soon as you do that (and email me with your email address) I can invite you to post on the blog. You'll be using your own account! YAY!!!
Second order of business: My mother and father (aka Master Joe and Mistress Amy) are heading to Paris! Man, I wish I were going! But I'm not...ah, well.
Third order of business: This Sunday, it will have been three weeks since the Season 4 premiere, and we can start getting testy again. I'll make a (probably faulty) prediction, though -- I think Episode 44 will be out this next...Thursday!
  Why?
I don't know. I like Thursdays. It seems reasonably late for Kevin and the gang. And it makes sense to come home from Shakespeare, check iTunes, and feel the glorious feeling of a new episode!
Speaking of which...for Miss Templado and/or anyone else who may want to see the competition that beat us out in the hijack, I have posted Odyssey Nerd. Begrudgingly, I admit that the song is catchy. Not quite as catchy, however, as another song that I have been singing all day.
  (First you say you won't,
  Then you say you will,
  I am moving on,
  But you're standing still.
I'm on my knees, yeah, baby...)
Sorry. That is an incredibly catchy song.
Catch you guys later. (I am so clever.) See you on the other side of the glass, and don't trust Farron if you meet him on a dark road.

I'm Late! I'm Late!

...for a very important date...no time to say hello, goodbye, I'm...
Oh, hi. I was just singing.
Actually, that song has to do with what I'm talking about. I'm late for adding a new quote of the month to the blog's homepage. So...any ideas? Anyone?
  *Sound of crickets chirping*
  *Or cricking*
  I'll wait while you think.
  Wait.waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait
waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait
waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait...
Oh, this is taking forever...just leave a comment when you have an idea, will you? Thanks!

Hello, hello, hello! :)

Why hello, aloha and Bonjur to my friends on this blog. I have been on here this week, but I have not announced my presence. So... this is Tiger here, reporting... reporting... stuff. Here comes my list...
1. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did not win the Ceiling Fan Hyjack! No! Wah! Boo-who! That is just so sad... I'm glad Odyessy Nerd won, though. They did a good job.
2. I still have to finish my story and finish the 6th chapter of ATTSTW. Sorry to all the people who are waiting for me to finish both!
3. This has no link to our blog at ALL, but it has to do with writing. I now have an email address, and if anyone wants it, I can email them, or I can tell them what it is. (My arm is tired, I have to take a break.)
("Deliver Me", from The Prince of Egypt plays in the background.)
Okay, I am good now. Sadly, that is all I have to write. Wait! I have one more thing. On Tuesday I can not play because I am getting our house ready for guests. I will give you your valentines when I come for my piano lesson. Bye!
-Tiger
P.S. One more thing... HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Friends, Sembers, Countrymen...

Lend me your ears. I have a rather...sad bit of news.
Faithful Sembers...we...did not...win...the Ceiling Fan 2011 Fan Hijack.
  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
  Guess who won?
Odyssey Nerd. I guess that all those times that I refused to sing it even though it got stuck in my head didn't pay off. All those moments of going, "I'm an Odyssey nerd, Israel's Jason's code word -- NOOOOOOO!!! I cannot sing my competition! I refuse to sing my competition! Every time that I sing it, Kevin's singing it! NO! NO! NO! NO!" to waste! Oh, curses.
Well, it was fun to make the video, anyway, and I think we all did a great job. To be perfectly honest, I think that it's really hard to judge an original song over a not original song, and although we wrote our own lyrics and sang it and showed Tiger in love with Ethan Daniels...I guess it just wasn't enough. I'm sorry, all.
Well, I'm already planning on how we're going to win next year's hijack. We may have lost the battle...BUT WE SHALL WIN THE WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stay posted, faithful Sembers. I've got ideas up my sleeve.
Of course, we don't know the rules to this year's contest yet. It might not comply with my plans...
Well, I'll make my plans work.
  Over and out.
  Game's still on.

I Miss You Guys

That sounds really gross and mushy, I know, but...I haven't made a post in, like, four days. And I miss you all now. Because I saw Tiger on Saturday, but not on Sunday, and when she was here today, I only saw her for a minute, because I had to study Latin. Ah, the joys -- and pains -- of being a twenty-first century student of the classics! But I digress.
My real point is to...make a post. Hmm. Normally I have something to say.
Well, see you all...sometime soon. I don't know.
Right now, I'm listening to a CD called When You Love Someone: Songs of Love and Friendship. Dreamer says it's crap. I kind of like it.
Anyway, see you on the other side of the glass, and if you happen to meet him on a dark road, don't trust...
  TRAVIS!!!!!!
Bet you all didn't see that one coming! (To get the details about Travis Thatcher, go check out www.backdoorconspiracy.blogspot.com
Au revoir! (Translated from French as "Till we meet again!")
-President Fantasy
EDIT: I just realized that you weren't supposed to know Travis' name yet. Oops. So...pretend I didn't say anything, and wait till Installment 3 comes out. Thank you!

You May Want to Keep Reading...

...even if you were bored by the first six words of this post (that is, the title), because there are some interesting announcements in it, including the winner of the first-ever BLOGGY AWARD, and another special announcement.
(I wrote Bloggy Award in big letters, so that anyone who was tempted not to read this post would definitely read it.)
Okay. So, about the Bloggy Award...
On second thought, let's wait a minute. Build up suspense.
Well, so first off, the second post of the Back Door Conspiracy, by Nathan T. Dalton, is now released! Hmm...the mystery is thickening. Who is this guy, and why does Nathan "get the feeling" that this complete stranger knows him?
And second off, I thought I heard from Miss Templado earlier in the month that there would be something interesting going on in January -- namely, a dressage show. I never heard anything about that, so did that actually happen? And if it did, how did it go?
I would also like to commemorate the performance of Macbeth by certain members of this club (Tiger, Dreamer, Raistlin, and I). I have nothing else to say about it. I just want to commemorate it.
And now, I think it's time to reveal the winner of the January 2012 Bloggy Award!
Firstly, I will say that this was a very difficult decision -- not only because there was a post this month called "I Heart President Fantasy," but because several posts made me laugh out loud.
Well, I'll tell you what post did not win. What did not win was the post "This is Stupid but it is Cool!" And none of my posts won, obviously because I could not award myself the Bloggy Award. That would be a total rip-off. And if I award it to myself, the next person might award themselves the award. I have to set an example.
Anyway, I'm sure you're all like, "Why are you rambling? Just get to the point!" (Said exactly like Kevin McCreary.) And so therefore, I will tell you the winner.
In the end, I simply couldn't imagine any other post other than this one winning, due to the uproar it caused. So without further ado, I shall announce the winner of the January 2012 Bloggy Award to be...
Mrs. Nelson, for "The Hack Job!"
Now, I am well aware as to the fact that Mrs. Nelson is not, in fact, a club member. But she won, so all honors of the first Bloggy Award winner go to her, including the trophy and the privilege of choosing next month's Bloggy Award winner. I am not advocating hacking onto this blog, to anyone who might want to replicate this, and if anyone decides to re-do this whole thing, they will not be awarded the Bloggy Award for it. But this time, "The Hack Job" has won...so congratulations to Mrs. Nelson!
(I never thought I'd say that on this blog.)
Here are a couple of honorable mentions that I did consider:
"Hey! Whatsup? and.. KEVIN MCCREARY-READ THIS POST!"
  "Hello look at this peeps"
  "I heart President Fantasy!!!"
Well, there you have it. I will award the official trophy to Mrs. Nelson sometime soon. And for now...good morning, good afternoon, and good evening!
If you meet Phil on a dark road...
Oh, right, I can't say that anymore!
  Well...
  How about this?
Don't trust Farron if you meet him on a dark road!
  Hmm...I'll think on it.
  'Bye, all!
